SSC CGL exam stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Exam.
Staff Selection Commission is an organization entrusted with examining and recommending candidates for recruitment by various departments under Government of India at staff (Non-Gazzetted posts) levels.
The exam is conducted in two stages... viz. Tier I and Tier II
